On the occasion of 60th anniversary of foundation, Photographic Society of Murshidabad wishes to undertake several activities throughout the year. It started with PSA recognised MURSHIDABAD Grand Circuit 2021, an international photo exhibition with 6 judgings, followed by FOCUS 2022 : a photographic competition for the photographer of the district. One year Photography Course has been made free for all. Now, the society has decided to celebrate Diamond Jubilee and World Photography Day through 3 day Photo Festival at Community Hall, Collectorate Club, Berhampore, Murshidabad.

How to participate
This 3 day photo festival is open to all. However, interested person should fill up the Registration Form for delegate, available online, on or before 15th august, 2022 with a payment of subsidised delegation fee as per own choice of major meals as stated below.
a) Rs. 800/- (Rupees eight hundred) only. It includes 4 major meals (3 lunch and 1 mega-dinner with mentors).
b) Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred) only. It includes 3 major meals (3 lunch).

How to reach (for outstation delegates)
By Air
The nearest airport is at Kolkata,Name of Airport “Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport(CCU)” is located about 195 km from Berhampore, Murshidabad. The airport is well connected by flights to Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru. From the airport taxi services are available for Berhampore, Murshidabad.
By Rail
Berhampore is connected with two railway station, Berhampore Court railway station within Berhampore town and Khagraghat Road railway station, slightly far from Berhampore. Both the stations are connected by trains to Howrah, Sealdah & Kolkata station which are well connected to almost all Indian cities. Taxi services are available from the station.
Reaching Berhampore Court station – a) From Sealdah : Bhagirathi Express (13103), Sealdah Lalgola Passanger (03183), Sealdah Lalgola Special (03191) and b) From Kolkata station : Hazarduari Express (13113), Dhano Dhanne Express (13117).
Reaching Khagraghat Road station – a) From Sealdah : TEESTA TORSA SPL (13141), Sealdah- KATIHAR EXP (13033), HATE BAZARE EXP (13169/13163), b) From Howrah : Howrah- Malda town Intercity Exp (13465), KAMRUP EXP (15959/15961), and c) From Kolkata station : Kolkata-Radhikapur Exp (13145), .
By Road
Berhampore is well connected by road. State-run buses from Kolkata, Burdwan, Rampurhat, Suri, Bolpur, Malda, Krishnagar and Durgapur do ply regularly to Berhampore. One can also hire a taxi to reach Berhampore from the above mentioned places. NBSTC, SBSTC and WBTC buses are available from Esplanade, Kolkata and Tenjing Norgey Junction Siliguri . Many AC volvo and Red buses are also available from Kolkata or Siliguri .
